Admission/Entrance Requirements
Academic Requirements
Ontario secondary school or its equivalent is required to enter the program. Specific requirements include:
Grade 12 University Preparation English (ENG4U) minimum mark 60%
OR
Grade 12 College Preparation English (ENG4C) minimum mark 70%
Grade 12 University Preparation Biology (SBI3U) minimum mark 60%
OR
Grade 11 College Preparation Biology (SB13C) minimum mark 70%
Grade 12 College Preparation Chemistry (SCH4C) is highly recommended
Applicants educated in Canada but outside Ontario must have a high school diploma equivalent to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. The Transcript must include the following:
Grade 12 English
Grade 11 Biology
Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry is highly recommended.
Applicants educated Outside Canada will require an equivalent to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma that includes English & Biology. Chemistry is highly recommended. Applicants are requested to have their documents assessed by the World Education Service

. You also require a Toefl Examination. The expected score 230 computer, 500 paper based, 75 internet based.
Successful results on CADHs entrance examination (aptitude, mathematics, and reading comprehension).
Admission is competitive and meeting the minimum requirements does not ensure admission into the program.
Advance Standing and Transfer Students
Currently, students are not admitted into the program with advanced standing.
Other Requirements due at Registration (once accepted)
Proof of current Certification in First Aid and Basic Rescuer in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) which must be maintained during the duration of the program.
Confidential current immunization report to be completed by a physician (detailed information on immunization requirements are available upon request).
Current Canada-wide criminal record police check.
Current letter from a dentist confirming the candidate is in good oral health.
Certified Dental Assisting Certificate OR a current letter from a dentist confirming that the candidate has observed dental office and dental hygiene procedures for a minimum of two days.
Application Procedure
Students should submit official copies of all transcripts, including high school and all other records of academic work along with the completed CADH application form.
Applicants that have met the minimum academic requirements are contacted to schedule the entrance examination. The entrance examination fee of $150.00 is due at the time of testing.
Eligible applicants may be asked to return for an interview with selected members of the admissions committee.
For students applying with foreign education transcripts we require that your documents be assessed by the World Education Service. Please refer to their web site
