Intra Oral Dental Assistant (Level I &II)
Entry Requirements
Students are accepted into the intra-oral dental assistant program from Canada, the United States and abroad. Applicants are encouraged to apply early as space is limited. Please note that there is no fee to apply. Book an appointment to meet with an admissions representative and take a tour of our facilities Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Start Dates:
The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences starts the programs 2 -3 times per calendar year.
Program Length:
Admissions Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent or as a mature student, must successfully complete the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (SLE)
- Good oral and written English skills
- Upon registration, submit:
- Proof of current first aid and basic rescuer in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR – Level C) which must be renewed annually while in the program
- Confidential current immunization report to be completed by a physician (detailed information on immunization requirements are available on request).
- “Clear” Police Vulnerable Sector Check (must be valid annually and be for individuals that are working or volunteering with vulnerable individuals), which must be renewed annually while in the program
