The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences, a division of the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene (CADH), has an exceptional library which provides its students with an excellent learning environment and online resources.
With the many resources found within the CADH Library, students are able to access the information they need in a timely manner with help from our friendly library staff. CINAHL & Dentistry and Oral Sciences databases continue to be the most popular used database with a total of all searches carried out in the month of February. These databases provide CADH’s students with the resources they need to enhance their term papers and further their education. In addition to the many resources offered at the CADH library, students are now able to use the image quick review database for various dental images.
Our library webpage has also been reorganized with new tabs and additional information. Please visit us at www.cadhlibrary.ca to see the new design.
If you’re having trouble with citation our EBSCO databases can help!
In January we held our level III literacy skills training session. The next session at CADH is scheduled for April/May, 2012 for in-coming level one students. During these sessions students are taught how to access and search for information using the various resources available at the CADH library.
