CADH Set to Launch New Dental Assistant Level I and II Program

The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences, a division of the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene (CADH) will be launching its new program: Intra-Oral Dental Assistant Level I and II on March 19th, 2012.

Registration for the Intra-Oral Dental Assistant Level I and II program is now open and the first class is set for March 19th, 2012. The Intra-Oral Dental Assistant program will not only provide students of CADH with exceptional training in this field, but will be further enhanced through interaction with dental hygiene instructors, dentists, and related health care professionals.

CADHas facility boasts an extensive 22 chair dental clinic which includes Pan x-ray, 6 x-ray rooms and digital radiography. CADHas facility is the largest of its kind within its field and provides students with an excellent learning environment.

The Intra-Oral Dental Assistant program Level I and II has a radiography component which is completely digital. Many modern dental practices currently use digital radiography in the creation of x-rays. The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences will continue to teach both the traditional methods of radiography as well as modern practices to ensure that graduates are able to adapt to any dental practice office system.

CADH contains a a?student firsta? environment which includes a full learning center complete with 15 computer workstations, a lounge facility and wifi. Students of CADH have access to databases hosted by EBSCO in addition to on-site textbooks and online journals. CADH has large classrooms, a fully equipped laboratory, a lunchroom and locker rooms.

If you are interested in learning more about CADH or there programs they will be visiting the Pacific Dental Conference March 8-10th/12 in Vancouver.
