The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences continually promotes continuing education and life-long learning. The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences (The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences) is proud to have an Articulation Agreement with Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL). This agreement allows Dental Hygienists the opportunity to complete TRU-OL’s Bachelor of Health Science program.

Through TRU-OL’s Bachelor of Health Science program, successful graduates of the accredited The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences Dental Hygiene program have the opportunity to attain maximum credit for the pre-assessed The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences courses in a streamlined process.

Students that have graduated from the Dental Hygiene diploma program between November 30th, 2011 and November 30th 2014 are eligible to receive a maximum of 54 PLAR credit towards the TRU Open Learning Bachelor of Health Science program. The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences Dental Hygiene diploma graduates outside of these dates, are still welcome to apply to TRU OL Bachelor of Health Science program. Approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
