Dental Hygiene Diploma Program (Accredited)
Program of Study
The dental hygiene program at CADH is a 20-month, CDAC accredited diploma program of full-time classroom and clinical instruction.
The Dental Hygiene Diploma program is approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. The program prepares students to practice as primary oral health-care providers. The curriculum focuses on developing fundamental knowledge required for contemporary dental hygiene practice. The curriculum is rigorous. Students must be prepared to completely dedicate time and effort to the coursework for successful completion of the program.
The bright and modern facility, digital radiography and well qualified instructors all play a significant role in CADH consistenly achieving top tier pass rates on the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board Exams. Notably, students of CADH score well above the provincial average of all public and private accredited Dental Hygiene institutions. As a result, our upcoming class is close to capacity so applicants are encouraged to begin the admissions process as soon as possible. Congratulations to all!

Consolidation-Level 4 prepares the student to meet time requirements for clinical dental hygiene practice in today’s dental office environments. Students work in the community with Schools, Nursing Homes, Shelters and Health Missions Outreach- CADH is the only private school exposing its’ students to this type of real work experience, a valuable asset that dentists are looking for in new hires.
Students also create their individual portfolios to ready them for the marketplace and their job search.
