Dental Hygiene Diploma Program

Program of Study

The dental hygiene diploma program is a 79-week program. The program is approved as a vocational program with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC).

CADH has a bright, modern dental hygiene clinic equipped with computers at each dental hygiene operatory as well as six individual intra-oral digital imaging operatories and a digital panoramic machine. Dedicated dental hygiene and dentist faculty members, administration and staff provide students with a supportive learning environment that challenges students to think critically, engage in creative inquiry, and develop a spirit of independence.

The curriculum is rigorous. During the program, students develop the fundamental knowledge and skills required for contemporary, entry level dental hygiene practice. In order to succeed, students must dedicate sufficient time and effort to meet the demands of the theoretical coursework and manage the practical requirements of the program.
