Spring is here and everyone is rejoicing after a long difficult winter that many were forced to endure. As the days go by, more and more we are seeing a change in the climate, a change in mood, and flowers all in bloom displaying a symphony of color in open fields. Families are happily emerging from their homes to enjoy the outdoors, enjoy the sunshine, and welcome the very missed warm weather. It is a time to celebrate all Mother Nature has to offer.
A celebration, as we have all come to enjoy, known as Earth Day. Beginning April 22nd, 1970, Earth Day has grown to be a worldwide tradition of cleaning up our environment and finding better and more efficient ways to keep our earth clean. With climate change very apparent, the fight for a clean environment has grown more popularity than its previous years. With knowledge always comes power and it is with that knowledge of maintaining our environment and passing that knowledge to our children we keep our earth beautiful.
Much like our own health we upkeep our surrounding parks, yards, and beaches. It is the same concept as focusing on our dental health. When you neglect one part of your body, your entire body is affected. Think of it like watering your plants. Overtime weeds begin to grow around and in your garden, you fail to properly water them, and then you stop keeping up with it all together which eventually results in your beautiful garden to wither away. One cannot stress the importance of keeping up with your dental hygiene. Though it may not seem like the most vital part of our bodies, the truth of the matter is neglecting your teeth can lead to other health issues over time.
So in light of the spring season that is upon us, it is time to do some much-needed spring-cleaning. Spring teeth cleaning that is. Having your routine dental cleanings with your local Dental Health Professional is the best ways to kick start this spring healthier and stronger. Strong enough to tackle all of your Earth Day festivities.
