Awarded to the dental hygiene graduate that has demonstrated exceptional clinical skills during the course of the program. During provision of client care, the student will have utilized sound judgment in formulating clinical decisions through the use of critical thinking and self-assessment.

Awarded to the dental hygiene graduate who has achieved the highest academic standing. Program Directora��s Award
Awarded to the dental hygiene graduate who, despite facing academic challenges during the educational experience, has demonstrated marked academic and clinical improvement by the end of the program.
Sunstar Butler Award
Awarded to the dental hygiene student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in preventive dental hygiene. This graduate demonstrated strong academic performance, compassion for clients, and peers and exceptional client management skills.
Northern Surgical Award
Awarded to the dental hygiene graduate with the highest number of completed clients during clinical sessions.

This is awarded to the dental hygiene student that demonstrates exceptional time management and organization skills. As a result this student has exceeded the outlined clinical skill requirements.
Hazel McCallion Community Service Award
This award is presented to a student who has demonstrated compassion and devotion to the health of the community by going beyond scholastic duties to increase oral health awareness to the public. This may be an act of kindness towards a needy group/person of the community, volunteering his/her time to oral health related activities or completing a task that is done in such a way that exceeds the average studenta��s work.
Client Management Award
Awarded to the dental hygiene student with excellent client management skills. This student has demonstrated compassion, empathy and commitment to his\her clients.
